Something Worth While

Okay my loyal readers... I feel that I have been letting you down lately, and for that I am so sorry. I have been preoccupied over the last few months with a project that is very close to my heart and my wife's as well. You see our family has been hit hard by cancer. My wife has lost her cousin and father to cancer, she herself is a breast cancer survivor, our brother-in-law is currently fighting cancer for the second time, and we just lost my step-mother this past Monday to cancer. Why am I telling all of you this? So you will know that we understand just how hard it is to have yourself or a loved one battling this disease. We also know how devastating it can be financially as well.

The best way to fight is to stay hopeful and positive, which can be very difficult when you are financially strapped with the costs of treatments and the extra expenses that come with them. And to top it off most are not able to work during their treatments, adding even more stress. So we have started the Lets Kick Cancers Butt fundraising project. Unlike most cancer fundraiser projects where the funds raised go to cancer research, LKCB funds are going directly to cancer patients that are in need of financial help, or at least that is our goal. We have worked hard this past year to put things together, and now our first products are ready for purchase... The Lets Kick Cancers Butt 2013 Calendars. Dying 2 Meet U Ohio Premier

Here you go guys and gals... Straight out of Ohio comes Dying 2 Meet U. Reality show turned nightmare. There is a premier tonight (Oct. 13, 2012) at Cedar Lee Theater in Cleveland Heights, OH at midnight. Tickets are only $6.00 and all of the lovely ladies from the film will be on hand.

Walking Dead Season 3 Trailer

Well boys and girls it's almost time to wage war on the living dead once again. Zombies be damned, The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 14th. Here is a sneek peak at what is to come. Make sure to watch the entire clip, nice little surprise at the end....

Contraband

To protect his brother-in-law from a drug lord, Chris Farraday (Mark Wahlberg) a former smuggler heads to Panama to score millions in counterfeit bills, leaving his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and children with his best friend Sebastian (Ben Foster) for safe keeping.

Of course things go wrong both in Panama and back home. If nothing else this film makes it perfectly clear to never trust anyone.

The acting is superb as expected with this cast. The story line is so so, but I was let down by the lack of action. Don’t get me wrong, the action scenes a good, just far and few, which slows the movie down a little too much for my tastes. It is a good film, and worth watching… But I will not be adding it to my movie library
